About Telangana Treasury Department
The Treasuries and Accounts Department plays an important role in the Treasury Administration. Treasuries Department is one of the main linkage between the Finance Department and the District Treasuries in the Telangana State. At present the Treasury Management is becoming much more demanding task, because expenditure of Government is growing much faster than its revenue receipts.
Some of the major new initiatives of Treasury department are:
- Introduction of Treasury Audit System
- Payment of Pensions through banks
- Maintenance of GPF (General Provident Fund) Accounts
- Employees improved paper token system, etc
The ts treasury department has developed an integrated software package called IMPACT (Integrated Management of Pay and Accounts and Treasuries) which is aimed at computerizing all functions of Treasuries. The ts treasury department helps in dealing with the following services.

- Lapsed Deposits under PD Account
- AC Bills and DC Bills
- Government Receipts and Expenditure
